Comets Take Down Hamilton in Homecoming Game

Cody Allgor | Staff Writer

The Comets returned to Dwire Field to host Hamilton and they didn’t disappoint. However, it was not an ideal start, as Hamilton put up two touchdowns on their first two possessions, much to the disappointment of the black hole, who had seen this pattern before. In response, Quarterback Collin Brown came up big with a 28-yard rushing touchdown and the Comets never looked back. They scored 35 straight points and gave up a last second touchdown to put the final score at 35-21. That game was the Comets first home win of the season and third win in a row. They hope to continue their win streak next week at Lakota West.
