The Mason Comets boys basketball team scored more points in a four minute overtime period than they did in any single regulation quarter as they topped the Middletown Middies 59-49 on Tuesday, February 11. Mason outscored the Middies 16-6 in overtime to secure the victory. A victory that was difficult to come by for the visiting Comets.  The Middies played inspired basketball on their senior night despite their 6-14 overall record. Mason was led in scoring by senior Mitchell Greer who scored 14 of his 21 points from the foul line.  The win pushed the Comets overall record to 12-7 and 10-5 in the Greater Miami Conference. The Comets currently sit in a three way tie for third place in the conference.  Mason will close out the regular season at home against Fairfield.  For the complete boxcore from the game click here
